What is an AI condition in Automations?
In the Automations module (Pro version), a rule has three steps: when something happens, if a condition is met, perform an action. The condition does not have to be a standard filter - it can be a question assessed by AI, such as “is this message a complaint?”. The action can create a note or task, assign someone or save attachments.
How does it work?
- 01
You choose an event, such as a new message in the inbox.
- 02
For the condition, you enter a question in natural language.
- 03
AI assesses the content and decides whether to run the rule.
- 04
The action is performed automatically, and the result is recorded in the history.
What do you gain?
Rules without coding: describe the condition in a sentence.
More accurate classification: AI understands the content, not just keywords.
Less manual sorting: requests automatically go where they belong.
An everyday example
The service inbox receives support requests, offers and invoices. A rule with an AI condition identifies complaints and turns them into tasks with due dates - everything else stays in the inbox.
Frequently asked questions
Does the condition have to use AI?
No, it can be a standard filter - sender, subject or keyword.
Can I see how the rule made its decision?
Yes, each run is recorded in the history.
