What are Workspaces in Task Manager?
A Workspace is a separate work area in Task Manager - task management software installed on your company's server. Each Workspace has its own Tasks, Chats, Files and list of users. Each project, client or department gets its own space, and users only see the Workspaces they have been given access to.
How does it work?
- 01
Create a Workspace and give it a name - “Marketing”, “Production”, “Nord Client”.
- 02
Add people and set their permissions separately for that Workspace.
- 03
Every Task, Chat and File belongs to a specific Workspace - your company's structure is reflected in the software.
- 04
Switch between Workspaces with one click in the left-hand column.
What do you gain?
Clear structure: work is divided logically instead of being thrown into one big pile.
Access control: no one sees other people's work because they only see their own Workspaces.
Scalability: add a new Workspace for a client or project in a minute, without rebuilding the system.
An everyday example
An agency manages each client in a separate Workspace. A designer sees their three clients, while the account manager sees them all. When a new client arrives, the Workspace is ready in a minute and the team immediately knows where to work.
Frequently asked questions
How many Workspaces can I create?
As many as you need - the number of workspaces is limited only by your company's structure, not your licence.
Can one person belong to multiple Workspaces?
Yes, with different permissions in each one.
Can I move a Task between Workspaces?
Yes - the Task moves to the new workspace along with its conversation and files.
