What does Task Manager offer business owners?
When you return to a task after a week, you want to check its due date and the latest changes. For tasks you have access to, Task Manager shows the status and a record of changes. There’s no need to ask about every change in a separate chat.
A task keeps a history of changes to its due date, priority, status and title. When the due date changes, the system entry also shows the previous date. System entries also record changes to the participants in a task or chat. When you return to an item a month later, you don’t have to piece together what happened from several people’s memories.
The assistant receives a summary of your private activity history: titles and links to the items you’ve worked on, not their contents.
The software runs on your own server and is bought once, against a VAT invoice, so your company doesn't become dependent on yet another vendor charging a monthly fee.
How does it look in the app?
The Notification Centre sits at the edge of the window. When nothing is happening, it collapses to a 40 by 5 pixel notch. When new events come in, it expands into a pill with a counter. On desktop, categories appear on hover: mail, tasks, messages, mentions, calendar, shared items, AI Assistant, automations and Open Space, plus updates for the administrator. Only categories with something pending are shown - up to seven at a time, with the rest collected under a "+n" marker. The same number appears on the icon of the installed app in Chrome or Edge, in the macOS Dock or on the Windows taskbar; it's also supported by Safari 17+ for an app added to the Dock. The number doesn't refresh once the window is closed. Mail, tasks and messages are counted based on unread status.
Once a day, after six in the morning, the centre shows a briefing: the date, a summary of the day and up to four clickable rows with times. If nothing is scheduled but there are unread notifications waiting, the briefing says "Nothing on the calendar today" and shows their number. When there's neither, no message is shown. It warns 15 minutes before an event, and an hour before a task's due time. Tasks with no time set are counted from the default 17:00 and marked "today · no time set".
A private work log runs separately. It records the titles and links of things you’ve created, changed or opened. It doesn’t record actions by Automations or the n8n Integration. It doesn’t record content, Mail or searches. Entries older than 90 days disappear automatically. Only the account owner can see the log, not the administrator.

What do you gain?
You don’t start the day by comparing your calendar, task list and evening messages. You can see how many items are due today and when your meetings are.
You’re less likely to interrupt someone with a “Where are we with this?” When an item comes up again after a few weeks, you can check its history instead of collecting accounts from memory. You can start the conversation with a decision, not with piecing together what changed.
You can’t look at an employee’s private activity log, even if you’re an administrator. You discuss progress based on the items you have access to, rather than tracking someone else’s activity.
An everyday example
Tuesday, 8:30. The briefing shows three due dates and a meeting at eleven. You don’t recognise one of the tasks, so you open it from the briefing. In the thread, you see a system entry showing that the due date was moved from 5 to 12 March and the priority was raised. You know what changed, although the entry itself doesn’t explain why.
At 10:45, a countdown to the meeting appears next to the Notification Centre. You open the calendar. After the meeting, you see “Mail - 11 unread messages” and two mention notifications. When you open the thread, its notification disappears.
Frequently asked questions
Can I see what employees are doing?
You can see tasks, due dates, statuses and the history of changes for items you have access to. Each user’s private activity log is visible only to them. Administrators can’t access it either.
Will the app remind me about a meeting when I’m not looking at it?
Yes, if you allow browser notifications in Settings → Profile → Browser notifications. Event reminders will then appear as native system notifications. If the app is completely closed, email is the only channel available. This requires email reminders to be enabled and CRON to be running.
How does the assistant know what I’m asking about?
The assistant’s context includes a summary of your work: a ranking of the three items you’ve interacted with most in the last 7 days, your weekly stats and “in progress” tasks that haven’t had any activity for at least 10 days. The summary is 1200 characters long and refreshes every 20 minutes. You can turn it off via Profile → Activity History → “Save my activity history”. “Clear history” permanently deletes the log and summary.
Will an update notification stay there forever?
No. The entry for a new version disappears once it’s installed, including in another browser tab. The app removes entries older than a week when it starts.
How much does the program cost?
You buy the licence once, against a VAT invoice. You'll find the plans and amounts excl. VAT in the pricing list; above 35 people, individual pricing applies.
