What is the problem with scattered files?
Documents for one case arrive in batches: a contract, a revision, a scan, then another version. They sit in several people's inboxes, so a week later no one knows which one is current. In Task Manager, you can save attachments from the entire thread to a folder on the company drive with one click - dated and in the correct order.
How does it work?
- 01
Open the thread in the Mail module or in a chat.
- 02
Click the paperclip - attachments from the entire conversation go into one folder.
- 03
The folder belongs to the case, not a person, so the whole team with access can see it.
- 04
You can also find the files through Search, together with the conversation.
What do you gain?
One source of truth: versions sit side by side, with dates.
Continuity: documents stay with the company when someone leaves.
Quick access: the file is available from the task, the conversation and Search.
An everyday example
A law firm receives three versions of a contract from a client in one thread. After saving the attachments to the case folder, the lawyer can immediately see which version arrived last - and add it to the case file.
